Anatomy of a Quick Turn

Below is a step by step animation of the quick turn. Executing it properly allows the cyclist to instantly (Quick) turn. The turn is tighter than a normal turn (inside a smaller radius) and consequently gives an added safety factor in an emergency situation. Below the animation are the images from the animation laid out as individual frames. Note particularly in the third frame the "flick" in the opposite direction of the intended route of the cyclist which allows the instant lean of the bike and thereby a tighter turn.
